Parsec was originally formed in 1997 and Paul Field was in the first team. Parsec was sold in 2001 to Anite Plc. In 2007, Paul had the opportunity to re-acquire the brand and implement a major project for a large custody bank. Paul ran Parsec for a subsequent 9 years before joining TUI as CTO. In 2021, Parsec is now out of hibernation.

We are a network of experts, many of whom are drawn from the original Parsec. Since the founders have all been developing, the overall network is now much bigger.

We aim to solve problems where a solution is not obvious.

We approach and aim for intellectual integrity, big thinking, elegant and long term solutions.

We are curious builders, always studying the next technology wave for its practical value.

Since the start we have been applying first principles to difficult problems, learning lessons, developing skills, building teams, mentoring and most of all, figuring out what we believe in, what we’re bad at so we can focus on what we’re very good at.

We are opinionated and argue vigorously for what we believe to be right.

We have a lot of experience in Linear TV, Travel, Supply Chain. We also have a good history of quickly becoming productive in new domains.
